The Day We Landed in Houston...

This morning we left campus at 5am for O'Hare Airport. Some of us had 2-3 hours of sleep and some of us didn't sleep at all. Since we are all really great, we checked in for our flights beforehand so we could just get there, hand off our bags and get to our gate. We enjoyed a healthy breakfast of bananas, banana bread and goldfish crackers for 2 hours, then boarded our flight.

After the stormy cold of Chicago, we arrived for our 3 hour layover in Atlanta. We all got some delicious lunch and then went to explore--finding the Travelocity Roaming Gnome.



Photos were enjoyed and the Roaming Gnome smiled for every one.

At approximately 4:30pm, we landed in Houston, TX and all the glory of the 28th state was upon us.
We checked into our hotel, unpacked and bought our groceries for the next week and a half.

Now on to the next day of our adventure, hoping that everything is still in tact...
